Diesel-hauled traffic on Nykarleby jernväg (Nykarleby Railway), weather permitting.

This heritage railway runs on the eastern part of the old narrow-gauge 600 mm railway from Kovjoki to Nykarleby/Uusikaarlepyy (1899–1916). This was rebuilt as a state railway in wide-gauge (1524 mm) in 1948–49 but was lifted 1983. Since 1989 here operates the Finland's only 600 mm public railway keeping up the legacy of other 600 mm railways long gone.
