Jyväskylä–Pieksämäki Line 100 yrs. (Pieksämäki asema–Venetmäki) 7/14/2018

The 100th birthday of the Jyväskylä–Pieksämäki Line is celebrated by a steam train and events at Venetmäki heritage station on Saturday 14nd July 2018.

The train, organised by Pieksämäki Steam Locomotive Association, is pulled by a Vr1 "Kana" ("Hen") steam shunter. It leaves Pieksämäki at 12:30, arriving at Venetmäki at 13:20. The trip back starts at 14:30, arriving to Pieksämäki at 15:20. The Venetmäki heritage station is open to the public with live music.

The train tickets cost € 5 one-way and 10 € return.
